“The Guardian of the Village” is an initiative designed to rediscover Villa di Tirano in a new, fun, and engaging way. It’s a free treasure hunt, ideal for families and children aged 6 and up, that takes place throughout the village streets, historic neighbourhoods, and the evocative “Sentiero dei Malviventi” (Path of the Outlaws).
Armed with a map and a spirit of adventure, participants follow clues, explore hidden corners, and search for 10 small “treasures.” At the end of the journey, each young explorer receives a “Guardian of the Village” diploma—a symbolic award for those who have looked at the village with curious and attentive eyes.
Conceived and created by a local family, with support from the Municipality of Villa di Tirano, this is a simple, free activity you can do independently without registration. It’s a chance to experience the area differently, learn navigation skills, discover local history, and spend quality time together, having fun.
