The Tourism Consortium Launches New Website to Promote Tirano and the Media Valtellina
A revamped portal to discover the territory, culture, and local excellence
The new website of the Media Valtellina Tourism Consortium is now online, completely redesigned in both graphics and content structure. The project was developed to provide a smoother, more intuitive, and engaging user experience, effectively meeting the needs of residents, tourists, and local operators.
The redesign is not just visual: great attention has been given to content organization, now more accessible and easy to navigate. The portal guides users in discovering the territory in a simple way, highlighting not only Tirano but the entire Media Valtellina area.
A central element is showcasing the strengths of the valley’s 12 municipalities: Aprica, Bianzone, Grosio, Grosotto, Lovero, Mazzo di Valtellina, Sernio, Teglio, Tirano, Tovo di Sant’Agata, Vervio, and Villa di Tirano. Each section tells the story of local features and excellence: landscapes, culture, food and wine, events, and tourist offerings, creating a cohesive narrative that reinforces the shared identity of the valley.
“The launch of this new website marks an important step towards a more modern and inclusive communication approach,” says Marcella Pini, President of the Media Valtellina Tourism Consortium. “We want to provide a tool that not only informs but also inspires exploration and discovery of the richness of our valley. Media Valtellina is a mosaic of unique experiences, and this portal aims to be its gateway.”
The new website is part of a broader project for territorial communication and promotion, aimed at enhancing the destination’s appeal and improving resources for both residents and visitors. The initiative began with the summer campaign “Discover Tirano and the Municipalities of Media Valtellina: You’ll Want to Stay for Days,” which highlights nature, culture, sports, and gastronomy. The campaign will continue through the winter months, with new activities and content dedicated to exploring the territory.
The website is an invitation to rediscover Tirano and Media Valtellina, offering a fresh perspective full of stories, experiences, and proposals for everyone.
