The event will take place on 13 June 2026 in Poschiavo (GR), in Valposchiavo, offering an Alpine cycling experience that combines sporting spirit with the discovery of the territory.
The event is part of the NOVA Eroica circuit, a format created to celebrate Eroica-style cycling on mixed gravel and asphalt routes, suitable for gravel bikes, modern road bikes, and cyclocross bikes. The spirit of the event encourages participation by amateur cyclists and enthusiasts of all ages, with routes that combine physical challenge, landscape, and shared experience.
A true challenge for well-prepared cyclists, the “Contrabbando” long route features varied Alpine elevation gains, climbs reaching the upper edge of the forest before crossing the border—like the smugglers of the past—into the heroic vineyards of the Media Valtellina.
