Food and Wine Trail with Tasting of Local Products
Teglio, the home of the famous pizzoccheri, hosts the 15th edition of Gusta e Vai, a staged food and wine trail featuring tastings of typical Valtellina products. The route starts at La Piana at 1,260 meters above sea level and passes through Prato Valentino.
Recommended for families, the itinerary is approximately 10 km long and takes around 5 hours to complete.
The walk begins at 8:00 am with staggered departures according to reservation, in groups every 15 minutes. Appropriate clothing is advised; in case of snow or ice, snowshoes are mandatory for the entire route, and the use of trekking poles is recommended.
