Exceptional views of the Adamello group and the Orobie Valtellinesi
Prato Valentino represents a natural terrace overlooking the Orobian Alps and the Dos Lau’ Ring, thanks to its positive elevation gain of about 390 m, rewards hikers with breathtaking views.
Leaving the car in the parking lot at Prato Valentino, proceed in a westerly direction keeping to the path that, after passing the houses near Baita del Sole, allows you to reach a first signpost. Reaching the road above and a new signpost, climb until you reach the locality Saline e Dos Lau’.
From this point, following the signpost, you descend, returning to the starting point.
Normal snow hiking equipment (hiking boots, snowshoes and poles) is recommended for this route (December-February period).
