This scenic hike follows one of Valtellina’s most captivating routes, timed with the Feast of San Gaetano celebrated at the charming alpine church of Alpe Trivigno.
More than just a hike, the Tirano-Trivigno Walk is a journey through time and spirituality, retracing the historic procession of August 7th. The path winds along an ancient mule track, polished over centuries by peasants, travellers, and pack animals.
You’ll pass through chestnut and conifer woods, wide clearings, and breathtaking panoramas until you reach the Trivigno basin — a plateau at 1,800 meters known for its luminous beauty and spectacular views of the surrounding Alps.
