This palace was home to the noble Conti Sertoli Salis family, who ruled Valtellina for centuries as podest\u00e0 and governors, and who still own it today.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Every corner of the palace tells a story, starting with its ten frescoed rooms which, during the 17th and 18th centuries, served as a political hub that shaped Valtellina\u2019s history. After careful restorations, Palazzo Salis has regained its former splendor. The exterior features a late 16th-century fa\u00e7ade flanked by two towers and a central Baroque portal designed in the style of &#8220;Il Vignola.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Inside, you can explore a museum route through the Baroque-style rooms, each transporting you back in time. The grand staircase leads to the Ballroom. Among the most fascinating rooms are the Reading Room (Saloncello), the Hall of the Turks, and the Studiolo of Olympus, housing precious paintings and ancient volumes.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss the Italian-style garden \u2014 a hidden oasis of peace and beauty that perfectly completes a visit sure to captivate even the most discerning guests.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opening Hours 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">From May 2 to October 10: Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">For groups of more than 10 people, it is always advisable to book a guided tour in advance.
